Parupu Payasam with coconut milk-Moong dal payasam- Pasi parupu payasam

This is yet another classic Payasam (pradhaman) recipe from the state of Kerala. It is prepared with moong dal (split yellow ones), coconut milk and jaggery. It is very simple to prepare and tastes heavenly. I love all jaggery based payasams. Usually I prepare it with milk. Occasionally I use coconut milk instead of milk.
